Humanity's struggle for peace and liberty is ongoing. Even now, with the borders of fraternity beginning to subside, every major power of the Alpha Quadrant is poised for war; the destruction of Cardassia Prime, the crumbling Romulan Imperial Senate, the tension between the Klingon Empire and the United Federation of Planets, and the ever present shadow of the Borg Collective, waiting to strike from the edge of the Universe. Newer, less understood foes such as the Ryuun and the Zarnac have emerged to threaten the prosperous society the Federation has worked so hard to cultivate.
Every race knows their place, yet every now and then a border is broken, a small, off-charter colony is subjugated by the enemy. The tiger reaches out for the egg, but the Falcon has swept his wings and is ready for battle! Crewed by some of the finest officers in Starfleet, the Falcon represents the Federation's brute force, the pinnacle of military advancement.
The USS Falcon is Obsidian Fleet's only Hornet Class starship currently in service. A hyper advanced warship, the Falcon is a steel-clad rendition of the Defiant Class, faster, lighter yet more powerful than her older sister, this Hornet Class vessel is proud to be part of Task Force 21's very own Task Group B. Fellow crew,
You may have noticed that since our beloved Commander decided take a short LOA, things have come to a standstill. At first we thought it was ‘just for a week’, but it’s been almost 2 and the time has come to take action. Our XO has decided to resign, and thus Dr. Zuri has been asked by the higher-ups to assume command of the Falcon as acting XO. Then took the liberty of asking Mr. McCloud to be the Second Officer, and if we all work together we can get our sim back on the road, and win another bronze or even silver award!
(However, PM Either of us as to whether or not you're still gonna remain on this sim. We need to know ASAP.)

Hey guys,
I need to take some time out from the simm, just for a week, to clear my head. I've had a lot of things going on in my life recently, and my head's in danger of ******** up entirely unless I take action (excuse my Klingon, guys). I'll only be gone for a week at the very most, I'll be back in time to contribute to our battle-post.
Try to coordinate yourselves as if Cassidy is in the room with you, i'll try to check back on posts from time to time but i can't make any promises.

Well guys, looks like we DO have our second Bronzie Award. Congratz to all, especially last month's newcomers who really proved themselves capable (and a special thanks to our founding members who, as always, set the baseline for this sim every month.)
